Community and Local Economic Development

Community Economic Development or Local Economic Development (LED) gives local governments, private sector, non-profits, and communities opportunities to collectively improve local livelihoods and encourage sustainable growth that is both holistic and inclusive. It is a process by which stakeholders work collectively toward economic growth, income generation, and job creation while building the economic capacity of local areas to improve quality of life for all.
